Founded to address the growing need for a safe haven for vulnerable children in the Kayole slums and surrounding areas, the home takes in children who have been lost, orphaned, abused, or abandoned. Many of the children are referred by local hospitals, including Mama Lucy Hospital and Kenyatta Hospital, as well as by the police and child welfare services.
